Pets are so innocent and tend to believe our intentions are pure. Especially during treat time, most dogs are normally joyous, waiting for delicious snacks.
In this video shared by TikTok user @ _heycarmen, she calls her dog over after grabbing a bag of treats. She then pretends to take a treat and slowly reaches out her empty hand. The dog is so adorable, licking her fingers as she starts looking for the treats. However, her dog starts getting annoyed, and you can see the frustration growing on his face. This goes on ten times, with her adorable dog reaching his neck out in the hope of actually getting the treat. She eventually gives him the treat after making him suffer all those times. Poor thing.

I don’t think there’s an easier way to break your dog’s trust in you.

User @grand_archduke ℒℭ℧ᏤᎥᏕ seems to share my thoughts by saying, “he trusted you 😭😭😭” He really did trust her, and she had to keep teasing him. Don’t try this with your cat though or you might be left with injuries. As user @PastelPurple says, “I did this with my cat, and sue almost bite my finger off.” @selvi says, “plot twist: he thinks your hand is the treat.” That would be an interesting turn of events. A literal version of biting the hand that feeds you. The old story soothsayers never thought it would be taken that literally, did they?
